Brand Security Labels

Brand Security Labels — Security labels protected against counterfeiting with holograms, covert print and serialised codes.

Brand security labels are layered protection solutions that make your product harder to copy and allow authenticity to be verified in the field. An effective security design never relies on a single feature but on several mutually reinforcing layers.

The overt layer (hologram, colour-shifting ink) can be recognised by the consumer at a glance; the covert layer (UV ink, microtext) is visible only with equipment; and the forensic layer (unique code, taggant) is checked by a verification centre.

Key features

  • Hologram and OVDAn image that changes with viewing angle makes the product easy to distinguish.
  • UV and IR covert printMarks invisible to the naked eye that appear under special light.
  • Microtext and guillocheA fine pattern layer that cannot be reproduced by photocopying or scanning.
  • Unique serial codeA code unique to each item, verified by SMS or over the web.

Where is it used?

Brand Security Labels applications are most often implemented in the following areas:

  • Pharmaceutical and medical products
  • Cosmetics and fragrance
  • Automotive spare parts
  • Electronics and accessories
  • Tobacco and spirits
  • Crop protection and seed

Let us start with a sample. Before series production we print a digital sample and recommend testing it on your own filling line where possible. Folding structure, legibility and adhesive performance are then verified before production starts.
