Pressure Sensitive Labels
A pressure sensitive label works with an adhesive system that bonds when light pressure is applied to the surface. Because it needs no water, heat or solvent, it is the most widely used label type on high-speed production lines.
Three elements determine label performance: face material, adhesive type and liner. These three must be chosen together according to the surface energy of the container, the filling temperature and the shelf-life conditions; the right combination prevents lifting, curling and staining before they happen.
