Custom Labels
Not every packaging problem is solved by a standard product. In custom label projects we start with the problem rather than the product: which surface, at what line speed, under which storage conditions and against which regulatory requirement the label will be applied.
The material–adhesive–format combination is then defined, a sample is produced and, where possible, tested on your own filling line. The approved construction is recorded in a technical file so the same result repeats on every subsequent order.
Key features
- Problem-led designThe construction is built from scratch after analysing application conditions.
- Sample and line trialVerification under real conditions before series production.
- Custom toolingDies developed for non-standard shapes and sizes.
- Technical fileThe approved specification is recorded, ensuring repeatability.
Where is it used?
Custom Labels applications are most often implemented in the following areas:
- New product development projects
- Difficult surface and temperature conditions
- Regulatory changes
- Entering an export market
- Packaging redesign projects
- Limited special editions
Technical specifications
| Process | Brief → technical analysis → sample → line trial → series production |
|---|---|
| Sample | Rapid prototyping with digital printing |
| Tooling | Rotary and flatbed custom die manufacturing |
| Quantity | Flexible planning from short runs to high volumes |
Let us start with a sample. Before series production we print a digital sample and recommend testing it on your own filling line where possible. Folding structure, legibility and adhesive performance are then verified before production starts.
