Multi-Layer Labels
A multi-layer label consists of two or more label layers bonded on top of one another. When the top layer is peeled away, the surface underneath is revealed, so the same area performs two different jobs.
In a piggyback construction the top label can be lifted off the product and applied to another surface — a file, a shipping document or a laboratory record. In a peel & reseal construction the label closes again after reading and continues to protect the pack.
